Haoting Chen is a litigation partner in the New York office of LS International Law Firm, with extensive experience in cyber fraud, e-discovery, artificial intelligence, virtual currency trading scams, and more. Haoting has served as lead discovery counsel on a variety of matters, including Internet fraud, product liability, cyber fraud, contract disputes, construction disputes, insurance coverage, and virtual currency investigations and government investigations. Haoting uses his background in law and technology to identify best practices and risk points for e-discovery and streamline workflows. With more than a decade of e-discovery experience, Haoting advises clients and law firms on e-discovery best practices and procedures, and has managed the discovery process at all stages of the EDRM lifecycle, from data preservation and collection to review and production. He strives to take a proactive, creative, and analytical approach to each case, helping clients comply with discovery requirements while limiting risk and maximizing efficiency to achieve and obtain favorable results. Haoting emphasizes a consultative and proactive approach to his matters and practice. He often uses his litigation and technology experience to create and implement unique strategies and workflows. Haoting is a firm believer in managing various e-discovery teams in a collaborative and inclusive manner to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve good results. In addition, Haoting has conducted litigation readiness assessments for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. Haoting is one of the founding members and directs the daily operations of the e-discovery Center of Excellence at another AM Law 3 law firm. He also serves as the Chair of the e-discovery Specialty Committee at another AM 50 law firm. In addition, Haoting has experience in Internet fraud law (litigation, registration, licensing), employment litigation, and media litigation.
